Silent Water

Jaouad Alloul (BE/MA), Alexander Piper (FR/UK), Gabriel Policardo (FR/IT) & Martin Baurdriller (FR) met in Brussels during one of the legendary sunday jams at Bob’s place in the winter of 2023.
There, they discovered their shared love of improvisation. Songs that arise out of everyday moments related to major world problems and human condition where, as observers of life, they often feel stupefied.
Music is a way for them to understand the world.

En tant qu'enfant, Idriss veut être une fille. Selon lui, cela résoudrait tout. Il pourrait porter des robes et des talons hauts. Et il pourrait simplement être amoureux de garçons. Chaque nuit, il prie Dieu pour la guérison. Chaque matin, tout est toujours comme avant.
À l'âge de 20 ans, il ferme la porte derrière lui et entre dans un nouveau monde. Loin de chez lui, loin de Dieu. À la recherche de lui-même.
